P.S. ... Also ... do not download this game from any other site than the above ... there seems to be some sites suggesting a download link for it ... but in fact its some sort of malware link (in my case it turned out to be a fake MP3 voice recorder), which I think might have been a cause of my PC having problems with the Windows Black Screen Of Death that is going around.
I Found out what has been making my PC act in a very odd manor just prior to a full reinstall of Windows 7
Somehow this software was installed on my PC http://www.relevantknowledge.com with out my knowing. I doubt very much if this came from the Ski Challenge game but I cannot rule it out, so its worth checking out if you have downloaded it
Companies like this should be shutdown with no argument.
My PC stopped running soon after startup (2 to 5 mins).. after a while I noticed that this happened just after a little globe type symbol appeared in the bottom right icon tray. I started to check all the services and programes that started at boot time but with out much luck. I was just about to reinstall when I had a good look though the programe file folder and noticed one called relevant knowledge, all the others I recognized as things I had installed. I checked out the web site and noticed they used the same globe symbol .. googled them .. at the rest is kind of history ...
As I mentioned I did end up installing something that suggested it was ski challenge 2010 .. but turned out to be some sort of MP3 voice recorder that was a pain to remove. I wonder if RK was hidden in this download
Normally I am fairly careful of what I download ... but this sneaked past ..
