I know of at least one boat in development and I suspect there are many more. We should see a flurry of boats for VSK5 "real soon now".
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.

On the flipside, the VSK-AUS Moth Development Team is looking into a VSK5 release of the International Moth model that will correct some of the niggles observed, such as getting stuck in irons.

The big problem is the new XML data file for the boat's performance, which appears to be more involved than the previous VPP files. Another VSk-AUs member has successfully imported a number of VSK4 models "as is" but our understanding is these may be using some sort of default performance info as there's no published XML for these as yet!

To the VSK4 model developers, anyone looking at conversions of your models??

Hello Will,

I hope so. But its not easy to find the best parameters for the boat without any documentation. Its a try and error prozess that needs a lot of time.

I am sure that we can see many new Boats and some of the VSK4 addon Boats :D
