My big ticket items are as per Keith's first post regarding R16.1, R17.1 and R18.

However I agree with your suggestion about R17.1 in your last post Keith. Either switch the laylines back on or give a clear warning - say 3 secs.

I do wish that instead of calling this procedure protest, we called it Pen Cancel Review Committee--we are not actually hearing protests right now. We just review incidents where the VSK-Judge gives a penalty and the player asks for a pen cancel. I think just changing the wording would have resulte...

I think one of the key issues that run through these sorts of discussions is the practicality and return on investment for a club who is trying to make a decision about how to handle penalties. I totally agree with the idea of using pen cancels to remove incorrect penalties but I think that having f...

Interesting Radek. You would have to consider not just the cost of porting but also the cost of having support and distribution for it, no matter how close the two versions are to each other and you've got the multiple languages as well. All for a very small market.... I'm thinking of going back to ...

Inner, Bull is from Australia so I think the price diff would be less dramatic. I can sympathise inner but the reality is that NADEO will always create the game they way they see fit and if they get the formula wrong, people won't buy it and they will fail - and this includes misleading requirements...

These are indeed the issues that NADEO has always had to face when coding R16.1 and you've explained them well. It is impossible for them to code "intent" and so they give us the best thing they can within the time and budget allowances. I learned to keep my tiller centred while I was ROW ...

There are a number of guys way more experienced than me at making boats for VSK. I am in the process of doing a SuperMaxi - modelling and textures are almost done but after that comes the dreaded BoatParam.xml file.... :? When I'm done, I will know heaps more and I'll be happy to pass on all I know....
