I just sailed in an online race with force 5 winds. The start was restarted once then we agreed to not restart under 1minute 30 seconds. This shows that some hosts are fair in starts but I suppose it needs luck to get a good host.

Even if you can't make mobile crew members, how can you make static ones?

I know its not as simple as i said... but we are not trying to do anything new. The crew system is in the game engine somewhere. How hard would it be to just move them to the new boats?? The way the crew members are placed on some boats like the acc might be in the mast or not on an imported boat. ...

Its great having these new boats to sail.. but am I the only one who who thinks that sailing these boats without crew looks pretty silly???. The crews have obviously been modelled and textured for the original boats so..... is it as easy as locating them in the gbx file ,copying them into the new b...

I agree. But it would be nice to have an offshore sim as well. Maybe some America's Cup races would be fun.
